S/Y Nirvana was conceived after the skipper caugth eye of ”the boat of his dreams” a late night in Bergen – a German Skarpsno 44. This was the end of the old Colin Archer. After a number of inquiries to Mekon Shipyard and designer Dick Zaal, plus a chance meeting with a Dutch sailboat called S/Y Ran, there was no turning back. Drawings were bought and building contract signed the summer of '99.
